A story about school bullying, Kaarina, and Turku.
This must be one of the best Finnish novels published in this decade! If it’s not, then I’m missing out on tonnes of good literature.
The structure and language are straightforward, as is appropriate for a Finlandia Prize winner, but not simplistic.
