Three good-for-nothings spend a day in Kallio, Helsinki.
I’ve seen this novel recommended many times, presumably because of its lively language. That and the stream of consciousness style of storytelling are indeed great, but I failed to get interested in the protagonists.
The events to place in Kallio, my home district in Helsinki. It was fun to read about, although Kallio has changed a lot since 2004 when the book was published.
