Johann Hari: Stolen Focus

On the attention crisis. I appreciate the societal perspective, but the use of evidence seems poor.

The book is about why it’s so difficult to focus nowadays and how this affects both individuals and the society.

The societal perspective is the best part of the book. Beyond individual solutions, the book suggests we could campaign for more regulation and 4-day work week.

However, the arguments seem shoddy. The author didn’t seem to get right the things I know about and online reviews say the same – esp. the ADHD chapters get a lot of flak.
