Calm romance about an eccentric woman and here even more eccentric former teacher. The book just a hint of magical realism.

A woman in her thirties keeps bumping into her eccentric former highschool teacher at a bar. The book chronicles their relationship. The atmosphere is lovely: calm, slow, serene, with just a tinge of magical realism.

GoodReads recommended me this book after I had read Banana Yoshimoto and Sayaka Murata. It makes sense: this book fits the same “genre” as their books.
