A space opera/adventure. Leckie has a knack for writing cozy post-human beings.
It’s a space adventure that takes the characters from a tundra planet to an imperial palace. The twist is that the protagonist is an AI, not human. The way Leckie writes non-human characters, both in this book and in Raven Tower, is cozy and intelligent.
Liked this book a lot! However, I heard that the rest of the series is not as good, so I’m not going to read them, at least not right now.
